In 1989, the famous Belgian tuner Dhoda Racing prepared a Honda 750 RC 30 Superbike for the Belgian pilot Stephane Mertens.
This motorcycle was equipped with a factory engine developed by HRC.
Stephane Martens will finish vice-champion of the 1989 Superbike world championship.
The engine was recovered by Dholda Racing after the 1990 season.
In recent years, an RC 30 Superbike identical to that used by Stephane Mertens in 1989 was prepared by Dholda with the original HRC engine, which was completely restored and conforming to the original.
This bike was also tested and validated by Stephane Mertens during a meeting in Belgium.
