Presented at the Bologna Motorshow in 1976, the Bimota SB2 is equipped of the 4th line cylinders of the Suzuki GS 750. Develops 75 HP at 8 700 RPM.
Only 140 examples of this motorcycle were produced from 1977 to 1980.
It’s the work of designer engineer Massimo Tamburini.

The engine is mounted in a molybdenum steel frame whose weight is 8.5 kg. The lower part of the frame is removable to be able to drop off the engine.
The Ceriani fork is 35 mm in diameter.
Mono shock absorber Decarbon.
Double front disks of 280 mm and simple rear disc of 260 mm.
Brembo calipers.
Campagnolo magnesium rims.
Aluminum tank.
Fairing and seat in fiberglass.

The SB2 appeared in 1977. The SB2 presented here was produced in 1979 and registered in Italy in 1980.
It has Italian circulation documents, as well as the certificate of conformity of the Italian Federation (Registro Storico Nazionale).

Part of a collection for 42 years, it only covered 11 672 Kms.
It is in perfect mechanical condition and cycle part.
